Hello, I am an Early Childhood graduate and have been working in the field of child care for 13 years. I started my home child care in March 2016. I have worked in many different child care settings from schools, child care centres, Ont. Early Years and Home child care.
We are always learning weather setting at the table draw and writing or on a neighbourhood walk. I follow Ontario's pedagogy for the early years. Focusing on belonging, well-being, engagement and expressing. I send documentations/pictures to families to see the children's learning.
Each day I have something different planned for the children. Mornings we go on outing to the library, Ontario Early Years, local grocery store, splash pads and parks. I also plan field trips to the fire station, pet store, children's museum and more. The afternoon is spent mostly outdoors. Playing in the dirt, reading, drawing, running, playing and learning.
