Our philosophy is that kids should be allowed to be kids. By interacting with their environment and peers, children will learn substantially more, than if they were restlessly sitting in chairs for hours on end. When unhindered, children’s imagination and curiosity can create amazing things. Every day is an adventure at Bluebird Day home, and we never know where it might lead us. Our activities are based on emergent curriculum and we all learn through play in a positive environment.
Safety is the number one priority of our day home. To that end, we have taken multiple steps to ensure your child’s health. Bluebird is a smoke-free environment, both indoor and outdoors. We have first aid kits and fire extinguishers and practice emergency evacuations. Our child care provider is trained in first aid & CPR.
We serve nutritious lunch and snacks, but depending on the child’s age, the meals might differ. If your children have allergies or a special diet, we will work with the parents to accommodate their needs.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
