My home daycare is located in Bridlewood, Kanata, only steps away from Scissons park. Bright and spacious main floor play rooms, as well as a finished basement and fenced backyard offer plenty of opportunities for play and exploration. We eat nutritious, vegetarian meals and plan daily activities and neighbourhood outings.
I strive to provide an environment where each child feels safe, loved and cared for. In our daycare family we explore together, help each other, develop friendships, ask questions, act silly and receive lots of hugs.
I provide plenty of free play where children are encouraged to follow their own interests in a supported environment. We do circle time where we tell stories, sing songs and explore themes. Weather permitting, we spend significant time outdoors. We go to the park, play soccer, take nature walks, build snowmen, go on picnics and dig in the garden. The children are involved in everyday tasks like setting the table, preparing lunch and tidying up.
My rate is $40/day for 8 hours of care between the hours of 7:30am and 4:30pm. I offer extended hours at an additional rate of $5-10/day. |
