I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator and worked in the child care field for over 15 years. I have experience with children from infant- school age and worked for 10 years working with infants and toddlers in a child care centre. I have chosen to stay home with my little ones and open my home to provide child care, which I have now been doing for 3 years. I offer a loving, safe, nurturing environment to make your child feel like they are in the comfort of their own home : ) Depending on the needs of your family the hours of my care can change to adapt to your working schedule and needs. I am looking to offer part time child care. Flexible with the days needed.
Occasionally if needed I am available for evening/weekend care. I understand how difficult it can be to find that perfect babysitter for date night or a weekend event and to know your child is in a place they already know and are comfortable with.
I have just read certified my First Aid and CPR certificate and have child care related references available. I also recently obtained a new criminal record check which c am be provided if requested.
My daily schedule will include indoor/outdoor play, sensory experiences, creative art activities, gross and fine motor activities, daily circle time songs and finger plays, trips to the local play ground, Early ON Centres, play dates, Toronto & Oshawa zoo etc.
We have a fenced in backyard and are walking distance to 3 different playgrounds which we will explore.
We are within walking distance to Bellwood Public school Whitby and on the bus route to St. Paul’s catholic school if before or after school care is required. Located near the 401 for quick access on your commute.
