The staff at Bottega Academy are pleased to welcome you and your child to our childcare program. We are a full day childcare program. We are accepting applications for November 2016.
We are open all year round. Offering full time, part-time and flexible drop-in childcare service for all families in need.
Our school provides morning and afternoon snack as well as a hot nutritional lunch program. Our care provider was formerly professional chef.
Our curriculum is carefully planned out for the whole year to give your child the best education they can soak in during their year/time at Bottega Academy. We specialize in hands-on, curriculum, music, art and outdoor education in our own outdoor playspace. We encourage learning philosophies like Montessori and Reggio in our curriculum. We also offer extra curricular classes for after-school care and weekends, such as cooking classes, music lessons, drama classes, golf lessons.....

Bottega Academy is a licensed childcare facility catered to children from birth to five year olds.

Bottega Academy for Early Learners is based on the child development model which incorporates the theories of Piaget, Montessori, Erikson, and others. We are dedicated to providing outstanding and high quality childcare services. We aim to provide a nurturing, loving and safe atmosphere where every child can develop emotionally, physically, intellectually, and socially.
Bottega Academy encourages learning and growth through a well-rounded curriculum and play in a structured environment designed so that children may strengthen muscles, build coordination, stretch their imaginations, and have fun.
Bottega Academy welcomes children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years of any race, color, nationality and ethnic origin. We value diversity.
We believe that each child is special and unique. Children come to us with diverse knowledge and abilities. They are capable, curious and interested in the world around them. We are readily available to help the children foster every aspect of their development. Children learn by doing. They actively construct their knowledge through manipulating, exploring, experimenting and investigating. Therefore, as an early education academy, we aim to promote his/her growth and potential to the fullest.
Children should be allowed to grow at their own pace and to learn in ways that help them become confident in themselves as early learners. We value character development, social responsibility, critical thinking, and effective communication.

GOALS OF BOTTEGA ACADEMY FOR EARLY LEARNERS:
The aims and objectives of the school are:
1) Provide quality daycare service for all children enrolled
2) Foster the total development of the child by providing an environment consisting of:
- A warm, friendly atmosphere with trained child care providers
- A safe and healthy facility
- A child centered, non-role stereotyping setting
- A variety of suitable equipment in good repair
- A variety of activities that support the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of the children
3) To enable the parent to develop positive parenting skills
To be an emotional support system for parents when issues arise with their children
5) To assist parents in acquiring knowledge of normal child development and other child related information
6) Children will receive safe and consistent care during daycare hours
7) Children with developmental challenges will receive referrals to appropriate support and services
8) Parents will have increased knowledge of their child's development, individual needs and nutritional requirements
9) Parents will have improved parenting skills, including options for managing challenging behavior
10) Parents will have increased knowledge of health and child-care
11) Parents will have increased contact with other parents of young children
