I have spent the last 15-years in the education field, primarily teaching young children and am happy to share that I have part-time and full-time spaces available in my new home daycare on Voyager Pass. I have my Masters in Education with an Honours Degree in Early Childhood Education. I am also a registered ECE, mother to a wonderful 15-month old son, and a wife. I have experience teaching young children in a class room setting (kindergarten, grade 1, 2, 3 & 7) as well as management experience in licensed daycare facilities in Hamilton. Prior to my maternity leave I was a supervisor of a child care centre, overseeing 35 + children and 6 staff.
Working with children is truly my passion, and I am committed to fostering children's growth through daily activities, as I do with my own son. Being a mom, I understand that entrusting your child with the right person is a big decision! Therefore, I welcome any questions you may have or requests for interviews/references. My handy husband has helped me construct a very cute daycare area in our home and I would love to tour you through.
