Shannon’s Kinder Kollege- Quality care in a learning environment
Thank you for your interest in my family daycare. My name is Shannon Sawatsky and I have 2 precious children, ages 6 and 4. I live in St. Catharines, near Martindale Road and 4th Avenue. I have a genuine love of children & enjoy seeing them reach their full potential. I have a creative edge, and love playing outdoors! We play outside every day and when the weather is nice we are outside both morning and afternoon
Each week I teach/introduce a new curriculum to the children that includes a weekly theme, vocabulary word, shape/colour, letter, number and nursery rhyme.
Arts and crafts, workbooks, puzzles, and tons of pretend play toys are some of the things that await your child.
The entire main floor of my home is dedicated to the daycare with a large play area. My kitchen opens up to a covered deck with fenced in yard that contains many outdoor play toys!
As a parent I understand that it can take a lot of time & effort to find a perfect match to care for your child. A safe & comfortable environment, a nurturing & experienced provider, fun learning, healthy meals (including A.M , P.M. snack and lunch), centralized location and flexible hours are just a few of the qualities within my home. You can rest assured that your childcare needs will be met.
I am a certified first aid/CPR instructor through St. John’s Ambulance and live in a smoke free home.
