Black Canadian Child and Family Services Society (BCCFSS) provides culturally responsive, trauma-informed child care focused on safety, belonging, and holistic child development. Our program is designed to support children and families who require flexible, reliable care, including those navigating complex schedules or life circumstances.
We offer a warm, structured, and inclusive environment where children feel secure and supported. Our approach emphasizes consistent routines, nurturing relationships, and play-based learning that supports social-emotional development, early literacy, creativity, and physical activity. Educators use a strengths-based, trauma-informed lens that views behavior as communication and prioritizes connection and care.
BCCFSS specializes in flexible child care options, part time, evening and weekend care, to meet the needs of working families, shift workers, and caregivers requiring non-traditional hours. (We currently do not do full-time care during day hours) |
