I am currently a Preschool Instructor/coordinator with the City of Toronto Parks and Recreation. With my sister going back to work (as a teacher) at the end of February, I have decided to start up a home daycare as a short term care provider so that I can care for my nephew. In the summer months my sister will continue to operate the daycare through to September.
The focus of the daycare is on creating an environment that is conducive to learning. The children will be engaged in both structured and unstructured play, as well as story time, sing-along’s and outdoor activities. We have lots of toys to play with along with books. In addition we will go on excursions to the library, local parks and drop in centers. Furthermore the children will be encouraged to get creative with arts/ crafts to develop their fine motor skills.
Note: Two nutritious snacks and lunch will be provided
