Ring Around The Rosie - Home Child Care is providing comfortable, quality, home based child care designed to meet the needs of parents and children since 2016.
With a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science (Sociology), my interest have always been studying how groups behave - I apply this to my daily teaching, curriculum planning and activities with our group.
At Ring Around The Rosie - Home Child Care, your child will develop social skills, literacy, numeracy, science and discovery in a fun, comfortable, home environment.
Morning activities include story time, circle time and special attention to pre-K curriculum. Followed by AM snack and outdoor play or walk (weather permitting). All snacks and meals are prepared in accordance to the Canada Food Guide. AM / PM snack and lunch provided daily.
Afternoon activities include group activities, free play and additional outdoor time (weather permitting).
Dedicated to delivering an exceptional service for parents and children in a loving and nurturing environment, I strive to provide consistency, routine and a focus on learning and development to prepare your little one in developmental milestones such as socialization, literacy, numeracy, mathematics and good old fashioned play so the transition into organized school (ELKP) is smooth and familiar to your child.
Much like an ELKP classroom, the daycare space is organized into zones: circle time area, role play, reading, building, lesson/ nutrition (meals) zone. We also follow a structured plan to our day where your child will learn consistency, routine, and begin to grasp the concept of time.
This private daycare has the following accredations:
CPR / FIRST AID Level C
Vulnerable Persons Clearance through NRP.
Ministry of Education Inspected and compliant.

Ring Around The Rosie - Home Child Care offers a theme- based / play-based learning philosophy introducing themes or topics in 2 week intervals and expanding on concepts from those themes each day.
Our calendar year follows the local Board of Education, with closures on Stat. holidays, Christmas break and March break. We are open on PA days and offer regular business hours on those days.
We offer a fenced yard and walking distance to multiple parks! Family oriented neighbourhood, close to schools.
We are a smoke free and pet free home.

My name is Rose and I am a blessed mom of two boys.
I have a BA from Western University with an Honors Specialization in Sociology.
I am also a licensed Investment Advisor and spent 12 years as a Financial Advisor for two of Canada's top Financial Institutions.
I have a passion for teaching and find great joy helping children learn and grow in a fun and loving environment.
I offer a safe, caring environment in my home where your child will learn about respecting others, make friends, learn, grow and prepare for their next step in education: school.
The daycare is located on a complete level of my home; with separate entrance.
