Welcome to Lyndsey's Little Adventurers where every day is an adventure!
We spend our time exploring a variety of activities in this play-based, child-centered, home childcare. Whether it's baking, going for a nature walk, painting, colouring, exploring sensory activites, or exploring any other myriad of activities, we are always learning something new.
I am an Ontario Certified Teacher and have worked for the WRDSB. as a supply teacher since January of 2013. I have experience teaching and working with many children from ages newborn to 12 and additional courses in Special Education. I have spent most of time in kindergarten to grade 3 and love providing new and different opportunities and seeing every child learn.
Openenings listed on this site will stay static at 4, as I will only ever have 4 plus my daughter in care at one time, however, my list openings fluctuate as I will be offering drop-in and temporary only. This is a great option as a back-up for your current home childcare provider or if you need childcare infrequently. Send an email my way if you are curious. I'm always happy to answer questions and work with you as best I can. I can't wait to connect with you and your child(ren)!
Admission conditions
We have a lovely, friendly cat in our home. Though she is not a big fan of people and tends to hide, she will be around. Additionally, the only school pick-up/drop-off I do is Jean Steckle Public School.
Hours are for days I am open - which is 80-90% of the time. Specifics available when we meet.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
