My name is Angie and I am currently working full-time as a Service Coordinator for a Health Care organization, but I just can’t wait to be at home looking after your little munchkins! I hope to be in the child care business as soon as possible.
I am a Mother of 3 energetic boys ages 11, 5 and 16 months. I’ve prided myself in being a dedicated mother, but since my return to work full-time in September, I am feeling that I’m just not home enough to be as dedicated to my children as I’d like; which is what has lead me to my new endeavour in the child care profession.
For the past 10 years in addition to being a Mom, I have been working as a Certified Personal Support worker and a Service Co-ordination in the health care field. The exception to this was in 2008, when I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant at a licenced Childcare Centre. I cared for and taught children from infancy to 5 years in age, including children with behavioural and developmental disabilities. This was by far my favourite job! I learned so much and I’m so excited to be doing it again!
I have recently renewed my First Aid and CPR Level C and my criminal record check. I also have my Proton Food Handlers Certificate. Your child’s safety and well being is my priority.
I have a clean, smoke free home, located on a quiet dead-end road, directly on the bus route for Sutton Public School. My home is equipped with a newly renovated basement playroom, with big windows and lots of natural light. There is an additional play area on the main floor and a large backyard with playground equipment.
