ABOUT ME
I am an energetic, loving and creative mom of an animated 5.5 year old girl. I fulfilled a career goal when I opened my home daycare 5 years ago. With over 20 years experience in childcare, including growing up in a home daycare. I started my own, successful "babysitting" business at age 12. I have worked in a number of elementary schools and daycares both public and private. 5 years of post secondary education in child development, (BA@UWO & CYW@Fanshawe). I enjoy playing, interacting and caring for children. I truly love my job and the children I spend my day with. I can provided excellent professional reference.
ABOUT MY HOME DAYCARE
We have a large front and backyard on a quiet street in Hespeler. Toddler sized equipment, lots of riding toys and extra large driveway. Very close to Hillcrest PS, library, multiple parks, wooded trails, river and quick 401 and highway 24 access. We have a finished walk-out basement full of toys and activities, set up for the purpose of daycare. We do make use of the entire house. Our daycare is, smoke free, CPR & First aid certified, child service checked, fully insured. We recently got a beagle puppy who attends weekly training and who is currently confined during day care hours. We are a legal and private home daycare.
My reasonable rates include healthy snacks and lunches with occasional treats (we are kids after all!) Weekly emails, infants receive daily updates. Our busy day includes, but is not limited to circle time (songs, reading & role play) weekly planned themes, crafts, baking, daily outdoor time, adventure walks, imaginative play and plenty of friendship and love. Specializing in infant and toddler care.
AVAILABLE POSITIONS
1 full time position available July-September start date
I do NOT do pick up and drop off at any school.
My hours are 7:30am to 5:00pm with notice I am flexible.
