My name is Julie and I am a mother of two girls aged 6 and 4. I opened my daycare 3 years ago. I work under the licencing of an agency.
My home is smoke and pet free.
About my program:
At Julie's Little Zoo we enjoy a fun filled day with play, crafts, stories, songs, outdoor play and nutritious home made meals.
We are outside each day. During spring, summer and fall we are outside most the day unless weather is extreme. Morning are spent at local parks and afternoons are at my house. My backyard is well shaded in the afternoon.
We learn through play and get messy in the process. As kids play we discuss colours, numbers, shapes and letters. We also discuss emotions and how things work.
Meals are kept simple with fresh fruit and vegetables, home cooked meats and whole wheat or grain breads and crackers.
Daycare hours at 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
