Attention Teachers. Tired of paying for child care spots over the summer? Have a Dayhome who takes holidays outside the school calendar? Do I have the solution for you. I have been teaching since 2008 and am now looking to stay home with my 2 beautiful children. Opening a private Dayhome seemed like the perfect solution, I get to teach AND be home with my kids at the same time. My Dayhome will be open for all scheduled school, organization and PD days. There will be no charge for July or August.
As a teacher I know you appreciate having your summers off to spend time with your children and create cherished family memories. By providing you the opportunity to save your child care costs over the summer, I am hoping to provide you with the freedom to go camping, travel or whatever will create fond memories.
In my care children will be encouraged to use their imagination. Centres, as well as activities we do will be developmentally appropriate and designed to foster creativity and curiosity. I have an arts background and am a self professed craft nut, so there will be plenty of hands on activities.
We have a fully fenced yard with playground equipment and plenty of other toys and sporting equipment. Outdoor activities daily (weather permitting).
We are a smoke and pet free home. Meals will follow the Canadian food guide.
We are located in the area of Panorama hills.
