Learning happens everywhere, and Erica's House provides a rich, loving and playful environment to explore. Here, I offer a space that allows your child to follow their interests while having their needs met. I run a very flexible schedule for a maximum of four children at a time, creating an intimate family style atmosphere with plenty of one-to-one interaction.
I provide a personalized childcare experience for each child, allowing you to relax knowing that your little one is safe and happy.
I have over ten years of experience as a private childcare provider for multiple families, and much of my work with young children is an extension of that personalized care. More recently, my education and experience as a certified Child and Youth Worker has further developed my ability to assist families.
We move throughout the house during the day. There is a dedicated playroom in the back of the house, leading to a fenced-in backyard. The large kitchen is also a space for fun indoor activities such as water play, messy art, science experiments and fun food projects. I provide one planned activity per day and will often have a sensory bin in rotation as well. I offer these casually, as I believe in the importance of following the momentary interests of the children.
