Hello parents! JOIN ME IN GIVING OUR VERY BEST TO OUR CHILDREN. RATES ARE AFFORDABLE. DAYCARE OPENS AT 7.00am AND CLOSES AT 5PM. BEFORE 7AM DROP OFF AND AFTER 5PM PICK UP CAN BE ACCOMMODATED.
I am located at Freeland Avenue Liberty Street. I have 22 years of experience working as home based daycare provider. I previously worked as a medical secretary/office assistant. I decided to become a stay home mother in order to raise my sons. I have First Aid, CPR Certification by Heart Stroke, a current Police Check and References will be available upon request.
I maintain quality care and safety towards my daycare children at all times. I maintain emergency evacuation plans, Fire Drills (monthly) and illness policies for kids with allergies & asthma. I also maintain medication storage for each child.
I will have 1 full time space coming available in July 2017 and 2 full time spaces (Mon-Fri) coming available from Sept 2017. These spaces are for kids who require Mon to Fri care. Preferred ages are 1.8 months to 8 years. The schools that I service are listed below.
I service Duke of Cambridge, St. Joseph's and St.Elizabeth. Kids who go to Duke of Cambridge and St.Elizabeth, take their school buses from the intersection Rickaby & Freeland Ave and kids who go to St.Joseph's take the bus just a door away from my house on Freeland avenue. Pls note that I do not service Harold Longworth Public School and Charles Bowman Public School.
My rates are very reasonable and receipts will be issued.

I have been maintaining a steady curriculum throughout the year for my daycare kids (all ages). My main goal is to provide a steady learning program focused on play & learn”.
Children need CONSISTENCY in their formative years and parents need PEACE OF MIND. You will find both in my home.
My outdoor program include :
Outings to parks, walks (weather permitting), and splash parks.
My indoor activities include:
puzzles, board games,
legos, trains trucks, cooking kitchens for the little chefs,
farm animals, Dinosaurs, crafts, colouring, cutting pasting (scissor skills),
writing numbers, alphabets, practice writing children’s names etc. This is all to prepare the kids to JK & SK.
Older children will do
math games, practice how to write stories,
cooking, crafts, reading, acting out characters from a story etc
Special movie time is set for older kids during summer holidays to watch a movie of their choice (age appropriate). My daily curriculum does not include television watching. TV time is allowed only when we have time to spare or bad weather strikes us,
I allow 30 minutes of TV time for kids. During Summer, after a time of outdoor play in a park or outside in the backyard, TV time is given to cool down, relax and re-charge. This time is only for a short time. Studies show that long periods of time in front of television makes children cranky, moody and lethargic.
I serve morning snacks, lunches & afternoon snacks daily. Dinners will be served for kids who stay with me beyond 6.30pm. I am a very understanding and accommodating daycare Provider.
I maintain a smoke free environment at all times. There are no dogs or cats in my home. I have a lovely warm and spacious house with a front and fenced backyard. This house is a very safe place with no outdoor or indoor pools, no swings in the back yard (I use the nearby parks), children are supervised at all times. This is also a peanut free facility.
Music and drama are encouraged in our program as children enjoy learning through music, stories and dramas better than TV.
