DONNA'S DAYHOME: Specialized care for infants and toddlers
Full-time openings for 2022.
Above and beyond raising two children of my own, I have over 15 years of experience in professional child care. With my experience, I am a compassionate, caring, and nurturing caregiver. I love my job! I specialize and cater my dayhome to children ages 10 months through 3 1/2 years of age.
The atmosphere in my dayhome is highly aged appropriate. I love to encourage and assist in cognitive, emotional, physical, and language development through play and social interaction. I support the children in developing new skills and routines, such as manners and potty training.
My dayhome is filled with endless amounts of toys and age appropriate learning activities. We spend time playing, laughing, dancing, reading, and creating music. I focus on developing the children's learning and development through verbal and visual recognition of the upper and lower case alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, and sounds. I also facilitate learning through play by challenging all five senses. In addition, I work on spatial awareness and daily human interactions like sharing and empathy.
The dayhome environment is set up in a bright and spacious walk-out basement, exclusively. There are two extra-large playrooms, three bedrooms devoted for naptime with individual beds for each child. The home features air conditioning, in-floor heating, and is a smoke and pet-free environment.
I have a ZERO vehicle driving policy within the dayhome, which means I do not transport the children to play parks or preschools. I have a fenced backyard for outdoor playtime.
Full-time care
Monday through Friday (6:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
