Hi, I am Regina, a stay at home mother of a 10 month old offering childcare in my home LNR looking for 2 children or a group of sibling of similar age or up to watch starting May 15, 2017.
Sibling, full time, and part time rates are available over the phone. Two snacks are provided in the morning and afternoon.
I graduated from Simon Fraser University with a bachelor degree in Economics; however, I decided to watch children so I could stay at home with my son and provide him with a playmate to learn and grow with. I have obtained level 1 first aid and Good Beginnings certificates. I provide more individual care to your child/ children and build our daily schedule around and believe that children learn by playing, improving their cognitive, motor skills, and social the most.
I encourage children to be active physically and mentally. We aim for at least one hour a day to do outdoor activities, such as, playing in the park, dancing, etc. Being outdoor promotes active play, increases children's appetites, and even helps them to sleep better.
I use no physical acts of punishment, isolation, humiliation or withholding basic needs. The safety and well-being of our children are very important to me, and I will discuss difficulties and challenges with you when they arise.
In my care, we thrive to create an environment that is safe and loving for children to grow and be themselves.
