Hello and Welcome to La Garderie Free To Be.
My name is Catherine and I am a proud mother of a 5 year’s old little boy. I would love to welcome your little one to enjoy a morning filled with fun and safe activities. I am fully bilingual but my native language is French Canadian. I can therefore fully emerge your child in the French language or in both French and English. I also have a basic knowledge of the Arabic language as I have most recently been working with children overseas. I have over 15 years of experience with children, either as a nursery teacher or as an ABA therapist for children with special needs. I am first aid pediatrics trained, I hold an up to date police check and I can can provide you with ample of references. I am also a yoga teacher and have most recently been trained to provide kids yoga and mindfulness classes. I am therefore planning to include some yoga and mindfulness exercises through our day :)
I am very adamant that children should spend a good portion of their day enjoying the great outdoors. Therefore, I have a small fenced in backyard where they will get introduced to the art of gardening and where they will be free to explore safely while learning through play. I am conveniently located within the vicinity of multiple parks and splash pads. Our daily routine will offer circle time, sing along, stories, role play, art and sensory activities. My primary goal is for your child to blossom safely into a confident and happy little one. Thus, every activity will be geared towards their individual and unique needs.
