Welcome to Mita’s Home Day Care.
You are about to make one of the major decisions: to entrust your child to someone else’s care. Are you comfortable? What are you looking for? A healthy, nutritious, safe and loving environment? Maybe you have reached the right place. Isn’t your child’s safety and happiness your main objective?
What do we do here?Is that what you are thinking?
We start the day with homemade nutritious food ( two snacks and lunch) Your child is encouraged positive development by trying new activities: Circle time, music time, arts and crafts as well and other fine and gross motor activities.These activities encourage
them to think, create, explore, express themselves and problem solve. Through play they learn to respect others and care for nature and the environment.
Don’t worry, you don’t have to bring any equipment. This place is well equipped. Triple stroller, 4 seated wagon high chairs and of course lots of toys.
I don't drive with kids.
We have our playroom / nap in the basement. Infants get separate rooms for nap if needed .
In the backyard, we have push toys, a playhouse and play structure.
Daily Communication Note / pics sent to parents of infants and toddlers.
Typical would be like this:
7:30-8:30 arrival
8:30 – 9:00 morning snack
9:00 – 10:00 circle time
10:00 – 11:30 outdoor time – different parks , explore community , nature hunt ( weather permitting )
11:30 – 12:00 lunch time
12:00- 12:30 story time
12:30 – 2:30 nap time/quiet time (puzzle , reading , coloring)
2:30- 3:00 snack time
3:00 – 4:00 arts and crafts
4:00– 5:30 clean up, Free play
I provide individualized care whenever possible to make sure every child's need is met, that is my GOAL.
I have taken teacher's kids here so I can work around with their schedule .
