Main floor daycare, operates out of our main floor living room and kitchen, with a second floor nap space. Large backyard for outdoor playtime. Walks to local park and splash pad in summer.

Focus on play based learning.
I have a Master of Science Degree and education is very important to me, we always try to incorporate learning into our day whenever possible.
Arts and crafts, vegetable garden in the summer, fine and gross motor activities, songs and dance, open centre play.
COVID protocols in place. Staff are currently required to wear a mask and face shield while inside the day home, but are not required outside when physical distancing can be maintained. Children under 2 should not wear masks as per guidelines. Children 2 to school age have no recommendation in a day home, therefore we do not require masks. School aged children (kindergarten to grade 3) are encouraged to wear masks. Parents/caregiver must wear a mask if they are entering the dayhome. We encourage porch drop off/ pick up when possible.
Daily cleaning of toys.
High touch surfaces (tables, doorknobs, taps, etc) are always wiped throughout the day.
Daily monitoring of symptoms for household and all children in care.
The household has a 6 year old who attends in-class school.
COVID protocols may change as more information of safe practices becomes available and as a vaccine (hopefully) begins roll-out.
This is a smoke free and pet friendly home. We have a resident dog and cat.
All adults have a criminal Record Check (vulnerable sector). I have CPR.
