Hello! My name is Feriba and I have been providing home day care through "Children's Village Agency" for 12 years. I completed my "Child Assistance Program" for 6 months prior opening my home day care. First Aid emergency and CPR certified. In addition, I have also achieved a certification from the"First Word" program, which is a language program focusing on prevention, early identification and treatment of speech and language problems in young children.
Throughout my experience, I have always worked full-time, providing care for 4-5 children in my home. I have always established and maintained great relationships with the parents and children and they have always kept in touch with me and my kids!
I have 4 children, 2 girls and 2 boys. 3 of them are in university and my youngest is in middle school.
I live in the Orleans - Avalon neighbourhood on 116 Vallier Way. I live in a residential neighbourhood near by schools, parks and playground for kids to play outdoors when the weather is appropriate.
Home made fresh and healthy food is always prepared for lunch. I avoid using canned or pre-prepared meals from grocery stores. I will usually discuss lunch options with parents to see what their kid’s favourite dish is, what they want to introduce, anything they want to limit and of course any allergies the child may have.
I love to sing and read to the kids and have them enjoy and learn amongst each other everyday. Everyday, before lunch or after nap time, I make time for the children to make special crafts and paintings to get them to play with their creativity and to take home to show their parents! Along with that toys and play-dough are also available during their play time (varies by their age).

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
