Stay at Homestead Mama's daycare is opening its doors!
I am a stay at home mom, living on a hobby farm, and I am looking forward to re entering the work force! I have two children, ages 3 and 5, a dog, a cat, two horses, and 28 chickens! We live on a picturesque 3 acres on Majuba Hill.
Before taking a break to raise my little ones, I earned my Bachelors degree in psychology and began my career in special education. I have worked with kids ages 2 to 12 years old in the school and private home settings, and cannot wait to work with kids again.
Our little family daycare will accept kids aged 6 months to 5 years old and will involve many rain or shine adventures! We will also do some developmentally appropriate exposure to preschool and pre k skills scattered in between social and emotional development through play with peers and exploring the world around us. We will do monthly themes, art, baking, as well as hatch chicks in February and start a garden in May!
