Care and Learn Child Care and Learning Centre is a facility for infants, toddlers and preschoolers! A facility founded by a team of certified professionals who are passionate about providing a spirited, interactive, educational and fun environment for children. Also offered at our centre is a rich academic K-12 after-school program aimed at promoting the love of learning for your school aged child.
Mission
At Care and Learn, our aim is to provide a safe and loving educational environment for all our children. We aspire to empower and encourage children to question, explore and think creatively. Our staff is dedicated to providing parents with a sense of security and support, which is imperative when it comes to their child’s needs. We believe that the early years of a child's life are fundamentally important, as it sets the foundation for lifelong learning, behavior, and health. In doing so, our focus is to help stimulate and promote your child’s intellectual, physical, social and emotional development.
Program Statement
Care and Learn Centre provides a program based on the Ministry of Education's “How Does Learning Happen” document. http://www.edu.gov.on.ca/childcare/HowLearningHappens.pdf. We believe that a sense of Belonging, Well-being, Engagement and Expression are all fundamental for a child’s optimal learning and developmental growth, as stated in the Ministry's Document.
At Care and Learn every child is welcomed and has a sense of belonging. We believe that every child is unique and learns differently. We also understand that there are various factors that play a significant role in a child’s life such as family, community and life experiences.
When your child arrives at Care and Learn, we welcome your child as an individual with a unique personality, and curiosity.
