Jenns Home Care is currently interviewing for 1 full time opening in July 2019, and TWO for September 2019. I am located in the Orchard Park area of St Thomas, just steps from Mitchell Hepburn school. **Teacher schedule available if needed.
I have several years experience in a child care center, as well as providing home care. My CPR and first aid is kept up to date, and have a recent police clearance. My home has also been inspected by the fire dept for safety. The children will spend majority of their day on the main level, downstairs playroom and fenced in backyard.
Our program spends each morning out of the house either venturing to new parks, exploring on nature walks, or at a local EarlyOn program. We also usually have 1 weekly "field trip" where we go to adventure farms, indoor play spaces, the beach, etc.
We return home for lunch and nap time. A quiet and darkened area is provided for each child, and they will have their own cot/ playpen to use each day.
We spend the afternoon portion of the day doing crafts, baking, enjoying free play, getting involved in sensory play and playing out back where we have a small playground and a shed full of gross motor activities.
I provide a healthy home cooked lunch and two balanced snacks. I follow a rotating menu which is always posted for you to view.
