Loving, caring mom of 4 children, I have provided daycare for families for 15 years. I've been in Cataraqui Woods for 10 years and love it here! The daycare provides freeplay as well as some structured learning and playing in the form of circle time, crafts, gross motor skill activities. We read books, play games, make puzzles and have lots of imagination type fun in our home daycare. In addition to learning by playing, we work on letters, numbers and numerous theme plans throughout the year, which can be found on the website. Our large, fenced backyard is as equipped as any playground around and gives the children a chance to run free and play and just be kids! Everything from slides, swings, water table, sand box, climbers and a big box of toys gives each child the opportunity to enjoy their day here. I have an open door policy, you can drop in anytime while your child is in my care. We hope to see you soon! |

We do have pets that the children love to play with and help care for. It's a great way to teach children responsibility and to show them to care for another living thing :) Our 2 kitties, 1 bird and large aquarium are always enjoyed by the children.
I have cared for children with allergies (including peanut allergy), asthma and ADHD.
I have a varied menu which can be altered to suit the needs of vegetarians and any other dietary need available.
The only other requirement for admission is that the children want to have fun! If you do, then you've come to the right place! |
