To start off, here’s a little bit about me. I’m 27 years old, and had my beautiful little girl February 2017. Before I had my daughter, I was working as a full time nanny. I have been a professional nanny for three different families. The most recent was here in the GTA (infant twins), one in Alberta (ages 1 and 3), and one in Barbados (ages 1 and 3). Outside of being a nanny, I have cared for many other children, and have looked after kids with Down Syndrome, Autism, and heath complications including feeding tubes. I am first aid and CPR certified, including infant CPR, and have a clean criminal record. As the end of my maternity leave approaches, I cant imagine not going back to work because I love what I do. However its hard to justify looking after children, while paying someone to look after my child. I’ve decided that looking after a few children from my own home would be the best of both worlds.
So! With that being said, I am looking for 2 children full time, and 1 child part time, starting January 2nd (the first business day of the new year) (Flexible) According to the CCEYA I only have room for one child under the age of 2. The hours I’m available are regular business hours, however it’s also flexible. If you work a bit earlier or later than the typical mon-fri 9-5, I can work with that. I am not offering weekend care.
I live just outside of Streetsville. My home is fully child proofed, and protected with safety gates. It is a very clean and organized, smoke free home. We do have a cat. She is declawed, very friendly and loves kids. I am walking distance from 3 parks, many nice trails, and a short trip away from the public library and the early years center. Inside I have tons of toys, room to play, books, coloring, and I LOVE doing arts and crafts with the kids.
I’m looking for families and parents I connect with. Child care is so much more than an income to me. I am still in close contact with the families I’ve worked for, and they would be more than willing to provide a reference. I’m a very loving, trustworthy, and caring person/mother, and its important to me that you to know I will care for your child like my own.
