Hi there and welcome to my Full of Beans Daycare, based in St Catharines, Ontario. My name is Holly Nelson and if you have found me then chances are you are looking for home daycare and, if anything like me you are worrying about leaving your little one behind!
The great thing about home daycare is that your child will have a familiar carer every day and will be in a less formalized home environment.
I have many references and testimonials and I have first aid and CPR training and I have a criminal record check, which will be made available to you, along with my daycare policy.
I am a Mother of a beautiful little baby girl and am a home daycare provider. Before offering 'home away from home' daycare, I worked as a teacher in a Special Educational Needs school and subsequently as an ECE with directors approval for a company providing daycare and before and after school care.
I have a Bachelor of Education and am qualified to teach elementary school age pupils and I have a Post Graduate Certificate in Severe Learning Difficulties. I also have qualifications in 'Forest Schools'. I have good understanding of various theories of learning, which I bring to the table in my home daycare.
At present I am able to offer full time home daycare, however I do work as a supply teacher for two-three days a month but I generally know I’m advance when those days will be and am able to provide notice for them as I will not be able to provide care when I am teaching.
