I have my first aid, child intervention and police checks. I have my (level 1) in early childhood education and have attended many childcare related classes/workshops.
My play-based dayhome currently caters to children ages 4 and under. We spend time both inside and out. We keep busy doing arts and crafts, playing dress up and experimenting with sensory materials like playdoh/slime.
We also take field trips to the library, splash parks, Heritage Park, the beach club (open gym time), Parentlink, treehouse indoor playground, and Spark science centre. We also spend lots of time in the backyard and many parks within Mahogany and surrounding communities.
