I'm a devoted mother of one. I've been caring for children in my home for nearly 6 years. My home is open to them 24/6 (Monday-Saturday), for children ages 9 months to 6 years, so far!
We are a pretty busy group! We take advantage of the local play and education groups (OEYC, Locke's, Forest Park, Hub, etc) all around town daily (rotation of course, not all in one day. That would be crazy!)! So we get a good fill of songs, crafts, painting and...mess...
I'm a strong believer in unstructured outdoor play, weather permitting, so we squeeze that into our weeks as well be it walks or exploring one of the many parks and playgrounds around town!
I provide the snacks and meals for the kids. I try to get the older kids to help if they're interested as I think it's an important skill they should acquire! We even go grocery shopping together. Yeah. Right?
