I am located on County Road 20 near County Road 44, minutes to Highway 416. I am a pet friendly (a small dog, and he will not be present during the day), non smoking and nut friendly Home. I will provide one healthy lunch (following the Canada Food Guide) and two hearty and healthy snacks.
I have over an acre, surrounded by mature trees, hedges and a cornfield behind. My yard features a small hill for sledding in the winter and plenty of room to run in the summer. There is a sandbox, play structure with swings, and plenty of outdoor toys.
I have a dedicated indoor play space that was newly renovated. We will do art and sensory activities, plenty of outdoor play, baking, circle time and I follow a play based learning regiment (guided by the Child Care and Early Years Act, as well as How Does Learning Happen and Early Learning for Every Child Today documents).
I am a registered Early Childhood Educator in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators of Ontario. I have worked in reputable licensed centers in the Ottawa area, and have experience volunteering in the Kemptville youth center. I have over 10 years experience. I am currently certified in Good Beginnings and Adult, Infant and Child CPR/First Aid. I have a daughter, age one, who is looking for some friends to spend the day with!
$40/day for under 2.
$40/day ages 2-6 full day.
$20/day before/after school.
* rate increase of $2/per scheduled for 2019 for new clients.
