Storybook Adventures Dayhome provides an environment which encourages learning through age-appropriate activities, structured play and also free play in a relaxed atmosphere.
My name is Victoria and I started my career as an elementary and preschool teacher 14 years ago. I taught in both Scotland and Alberta and when I had my second of three children, I opened up my own dayhome. Six years later, I am still loving it!
When your child is here they will find themselves immersed in activities such as:
*Art - drawing crafts, play-doh, puzzles
*Language - story time, alphabet work, early-reading skills
*Learning about self - feelings, likes & dislikes, hygiene, quiet time
*Math/Science - early number-work, measuring, shapes & colour recognition
*Music - singing, dancing, listening to a variety of styles of music
*Social skills - taking turns, listening, asking questions
