Krystle's Kare is a home based daycare, that is located on 4 acres of land. We are outdoors, as much as our Canadian weather permits. We have weekly themes, broken down into individual days that have a specific focal point. Daily crafts are done, colouring, singing, reading books, imaginative play and daily reports are sent home, so you know exactly what we were up to. I do my best to take care of all the basic needs, so that all you have to worry about is dropping them off and picking them up. Breakfast, Lunch and two snacks are given; we are not nut free. We are colour coded, in the entryway, individual cubes for each child in their colour, along with their eating utensils and sleeping gear. This systems reduces confusion and then when we eat outside, each child understands exactly where they are meant to be. Prior to having my own two children (ages 1.5 and almost 4) I worked for the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board as an Educational Assistant, worked at The Phoenix Network with people who acquired brain injuries and then helped coach middle aged children in learning the skills to become a competitive swimmer. My formal education is graduating from Massage Therapy at Algonquin in 2006 and then graduating with honors in Developmental Service Worker in 2009 from Georgian College in Orillia. Please check out my website and come for an orientation and receive an information package.
Before and after school is also an option. This summer we are building a bus shelter, for we are on Holy Cross and South Branch Bus routes.
Please check out my website and email me if you have any questions. |
