My objective is to provide your child with a warm, accepting environment where they can grow socially, emotionally and academically.
In 2008 I received a diploma in Early Childhood Education, followed by the completion of a Degree in Child Development in 2012.
Professionally I have worked in multiple child care settings, including leading a classroom at Singapore’s Canadian International School for two years. The past 6 years I have been employed as a Public Education Coordinator for a non-profit organization, with my main responsibilities being to develop and implement relevant curriculum for all ages in the public and catholic school systems.
I have a designated space where the children can play, learn, and explore. It is equipped with a working sprinkler system and full bathroom.
Your child’s day will be filled with fun and educational activities including, but not limited to:
- Arts and crafts; creating 2D and 3D masterpieces
- Daily circle; songs, stories, discussions and activities around weekly themes
- Music; we have a piano, children’s instruments, and many kid’s CD’s to incorporate
- Daily outdoor time; fully fenced backyard, we are just steps away from beautiful walking trails and a community park
- The use of developmentally appropriate toys
- Age appropriate puzzles and games
- Healthy meals and snacks
I will be able to provide a vulnerable sector screening from York Regional Police, as well as First Aid and CPR training certificate. My home is pet free and smoke free.
