Description
I have a learn through play philosophy, so learning is incorporated into the children's activities whether they are self-directed or provider-directed. I have developed a Reggio & Montessori inspired program that allows the children to have opportunity for maximum development in all areas, including self-help skills.
I intentionally developed my play space to be calming. The environment has neatly sorted activities that are rotated regularly to prevent boredom and increase learning opportunity.
I am a mother of two boys, a Child and Youth Care University student and have previous experience in child care including a previous private day home. I offer a lot of open ended play, purposeful provocations, outdoor time 2x daily (weather dependant), lots of gross motor time, daily circle time with calendar/songs/stories and more!
