I am a mother of two boys and a girl (9,5 and 2 years). I been home all these years taking care of my children. After realizing how much I enjoyed working with my children I started my home daycare.located near kingston /westney -easily accessible from 401.
In my home we explore many activities. I do a circle time, crafts, and sensory bins/play. We take outings each day (weather permitted) in the backyard or to the park. In the summer we also visit the splash pad and library.we have large play area with playhouse for the children to enjoy in our backyard.(see pictures)
Being outdoors is very important to me and I share my passion with the children by gardening and bird watching. I also plan themes with related songs, crafts and books.
I try to leave a good amount of unstructured time as well, to allow the children to learn independence and work as a team with their playmates.
I plan weekly meals and focus on hitting all the food groups. I serve homemade meals. For lunch we often eat soups, pastas,baked chicken or salmon. Snacks are fruit and vegetables with a dairy and a starch. I am always trying new meals with the children and will include them in the planning.
First Aid and CPR certified. (level C+AED)

I am very flexible with child care schedules; I am open to all arrangements whether it is full or part time, half day/full day etc.
$45 per day (3 days minimum)
