Hi everyone,
I am an RECE and CYW with 20 years of experience in the field in a variety of settings including childcare, home care, schools, residential settings and Ontario early Years Centres. As a lead teacher, team leader and supervisor I have acquired an excellent understanding of early childhood development and how to provide children with enriched, stimulating and nurturing environments. I value and respect children as unique individuals and support their ongoing needs and the needs of their families. I be offer a fun, warm, loving and nurturing environment for your child full of learning experiences. The daycare is in my professionally finished basement that is fully equipped with a kitchen, washroom, laundry room, separate entrance and walk out to fully fenced backyard/playground and a park that is conveniently located at the end of the street. The daycare is designed with your little ones in mind to foster their growth and development. Age appropriate activities are planned and provided daily including gross motor/outdoor play, creative activities and circle time with songs, rhymes, puppets, stories, music and movement and so much more! My home is a clean pet free and smoke free environment and toys/equipment is cleaned and sanitized regularly. I provide healthy and nutritious meals and snacks. I have my Infant/child CPR and First Aid, clear Vulnerable Sector Check and all the required and necessary certifications with multiple achievements in the field.
