At Little Sprouts we want the children to get back to basics and explore. Kids love sensory play, exploration and a sense of adventure! There is a large backyard filled with gardens and greenery. The backyard gate also opens up to a playground & park. We learn about different kinds of butterflies and insects in the butterfly garden and also how to plant vegetables in the veggie garden. The yard is home to 2 full grown mulberry trees which the kids love to just pick and eat off the tree.
My name is Lisa and this is my home. I started off watching my own 2 boys plus a little girl during the week. I didn't want to go back to work and I was nervous with other daycares. I wanted my kids to have more attention to grow. With technology becoming more and more of the norm, I love seeing the kids become Little Sprouts and learn the basic skills of the outdoors.
Just because they're little doesn't mean it's too soon to learn basic wilderness skills. In the winter they love taking their charts and looking for animal tracks. The park is filled with rabbits, red squirrels, foxes, possums, racoons and domestic animals.
Inside the house there's lots of play space. The living room on the main floor is a space kids love with the lego station, books, toys etc. Downstairs is the playroom.
Kids will have breakfast, snacks and lunch provided as well as treats (with parents permission of course) There is a little firebowl in the backyard that occaddionaly we'll sit outside and roast marshmallows in the cooler months.
Summer we have the pool, slide and sprinkler for fun! & freezies!
I also have 2 dogs. I got them when my boys were just babies and they really are the most babied dogs. My 2 old bossed them around all the time.
At Little Sprouts kids will have fun and discover something new everyday.
