Hello, and thanks for visiting Bah Child Care page.
My name is Janelle Bah. As a teacher for over ten years and in three different countries, my passion has always been working with children because I admire their sense of wonder and unabashed enthusiasm for anything and everything. Now that I am a parent of two, the decision to work with children at home was an easy one to make.
My B.Ed., as well as my diploma from Ashworth College’s Childcare Provider course have well prepared me in children’s developmental stages, creating meaningful learning experiences, and to facilitate growth and progress in childhood education. My role as a care giver is to facilitate learning by creating opportunities to discover and explore. I believe in education through play, laughing and love.
At Bah Child Care children will work on literacy, arts and crafts, painting drawing, sharing and caring, singing, dancing, and self-expression. A basic introduction to French will be taught in preparation for junior Kindergarten. (ABC’s, 123’s, shapes, colours, songs and more!), not to mention both adult led and child led activities and plenty of free play toys!
A healthy lifestyle will serve to keep us healthy and strong. Outdoor play and nutrition are incredibly important in our goal of healthy living. I strive to prepare well balanced homemade meals and snacks.
I am up-to-date with my CPR/First Aid Certificate, as well as government Secret Clearance and police check.
