Toddler Town provides a safe, healthy, compassionate environment while caring for joyous children as they are my own. Nutritious meals daily, serving fresh food. Emergent learning is a way of planning activities that are based on the children’s interest and passion at a certain point in time which benefits your children when they start kindergarten. To induce developments such as decision-making, being responsible for their own learning, and problem-solving, among others. This is maintained by ensuring the children are focused on their interests and what they like to do.
Hours: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM (with exceptions)
Rates:
Full time Toddler: $38/day
Full time Infant: $43/day
Before/After hours care: $16/hr

Highlights of ‘Toddler Town’:
- Children are given breakfast, lunch, and two snacks each day. All of my meals and snacks consist of a nutritious balance of fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, whole grains, protein, and healthy fats; They are provided drinks including, milk, water, and sugar-free organic fruit juice. The children also learn about the benefits of healthy balanced meals and “superfoods”. They learn why these types of food are beneficial to them and why others are not.
- Each day children are provided with brain and development strengthening activities (gross and fine motor activities, literacy and numeracy-based learning). They develop skills of routine, self-regulating opportunities, and expansion on their interests.
- My childcare is designed to meet the different needs of each child in my care. I believe each child has different needs and interests. I welcome each child in separate weeks apart from the others to get to know each child’s personality and interests and incorporate them in my monthly activity schedule.
- I strive to communicate with parents as much as possible with their children’s time spent here. As a mother, I value the importance of parents being kept informed when their children are in my care. I also provide parents with a copy of the monthly schedule, meal plans, learning activities, outings, etc. Furthermore, I send an email to all parents if there is a change in schedule (weather).
- Once a month, I provide a fun activity based on the children’s interest out of their normal schedule. This includes anything between a baking party to a dinosaur party. I also celebrate birthday months and seasonal activities.
Requirements:
• Standard First Aid and CPR through St. Johns Ambulance, Up to date.
• Up to date Immunization Records
