Hi, my name is Rui and I am a home childcare provider. My house is located in the Upper Cornell area (16th Ave. and 9th Line) in Markham. I offer quality child education and care for children 1 to 4 years old.
My Sunshine Village Home Daycare provides --
- A clean, safe, warm and stimulative environment for the children to play, learn and grow. My daycare equipment and furniture were ordered from the US; many of the daycare toys were professional products that I purchased from Mastermind or Scholar's Choice. There is a spacious indoor playground and a fully-fenced backyard for the children to explore and to do physical activities.
- Great teacher. I am a registered Early Childhood Educator. I graduated from George Brown College with honor and two awards in 2008. Now I have been in this field for 10 years.
- Educational and engaging activities. We do indoor and outdoor activities every day. Arts and crafts are planned and implemented for the children to promote their fine-motor skills and to enrich our curriculum. Weekly program plan is sent to the parents by email on every weekend.
- Tasty and nutritious meals. We provide 4 meals a day: breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack. I cook according to Canada Food Guide. I purchase fresh, quality ingredients and cook daily. All the meals are designed for the children: soft, moist, low in salt and sugar. Everything is cut into small pieces for young children. Milk, fresh fruit or vegetables are provided with the meals daily. Weekly menu is sent to the parents by email on every weekend.
