My philosophy is to create a supportive, nurturing and loving high quality childcare experience, in a home environment, that seeks to support the development of the whole child. I am committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment. Daily outdoor time and wholesome, mostly organic, Menu are important to me. I operate 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
I will encourage the children to develop problem solving skills and an understanding of the world around them by providing a supportive environment that encourages positive social interactions and the development of self worth.
As an RECE, my aim is to facilitate flexible, spontaneous activities based on the children’s interests, as well as, offer stimulating, educational, play-based opportunities.
With over 20 years of childcare experience I offer an eclectic program drawing on multiple pedagogical influences. I hold a diploma in Montessori education and also draw heavily on Waldorf and Forest and Nature School influences in my programming.
