Decisions about childcare are important. Parents want a childcare setting that offers learning experiences that match their child’s developing abilities. They want to leave for work each day feeling confident that their child is safe and happy. The welfare of your child is first and utmost at all times.
What is special about home childcare?
Home childcare is provided in a family-like setting for infants, toddlers, pre-school and school-age children. Children from the same family can be cared for together, often in their own neigbourhood, and close to school and friends. Hours of care can be flexible and may be adapted to suit the needs of individual families.
Home childcare has many high qualities:
• Relationship with the children in a positive manner that enhances their self-esteem and self-confidence, and corporal punishment is not permitted.
• Creative activities with the children that meet their individual needs at different stages of their development. A wide variety of toys and reading materials are available. All materials and activity areas are sanitized on a constant basis.
• Advice about nutritious meal planning and routines discussed with the parents to promote good eating habits with the children for healthy development. Feedback from the parents is encouraged because all children are individual and personal tastes may vary.
• Home environment ensures a more comfortable and less confusing atmosphere for the children. Spaces are clean, bright, and free from dangerous objects and materials. Indoor and outdoor play areas are provided.
• Good health and safety practices. Policies and procedures relating to matters such as the giving of medication, sanitary practices, and fire prevention are strictly enforced.
• Open-door policy. Parents are encouraged to establish regular communication and to visit at any time. Information about the child’s development and progress is always available to be shared with the parent’s.
A home childcare setting should be a place where you as a parent would enjoy spending your time. |

Kid's Corner Home Daycare is a nurturing, educational
environment for children ages 1 to 4 years old.
Over 20 yrs. experience in the field of Early Childhood Education.
First Aid, CPR Training & Certified.
Open Daily from 7am to 5:00pm.
Breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack is supplied.

Children’s ages range from infants to preschool age, pending on availability. Fees are paid on 1st day of the week for the full week.

• $60.00/day $300.00/week Full Time
Children 2 years to 3 years of age
• $55.00/day $275.00/week Full Time
Children 3 years to 4 years of age $225.00/week
$45.00/day
Part Time Care is available and fees are based on how many days care is needed.
