Little Nest Holistic Child Care and Nutrition is a home based child care program located in the west end of Woodbridge, Ontario conveniently located just off Highway 7 at Kipling Avenue with nearby access to Hwy 427 and 407.
My name is Stefanie Morra. I have been a member of the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators since 2011. I completed an undergraduate and graduate degree in Early Childhood Education from Ryerson University. I have worked with infants, toddlers and preschool age children in child care centres. I am also a registered holistic nutritionist who is passionate about children's nutrition. I have completed my first aid and CPR-C training and both my husband and I have a up to date clear criminal background check. Our house and business is smoke free and is fully insured.
I love to cook and have a large vegetable garden in my backyard. Healthy snacks and lunch will be provided focused on fresh, whole, unrefined foods. Our daily schedule will offer opportunities for children to learn through play and develop social, emotional, physical and cognitive skills. I have a large fully fenced backyard that offers opportunities for children to play all year around as well as garden.
Literacy, numeracy, art, music, science and sensory based activities will be provided. Daily programming will also provide opportunities to play outdoors, practice gross motor skills, yoga, music and movement.
The child care space is located in a separate unit in our newly renovated basement that has a separate kitchen, bathroom, sleep room and play area. A separate side entrance allows access to the child care space. Parents have access to a large driveway for easy drop off and pick up.
I offer child care Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. I am closed on all holidays observed in Ontario. Full time (5 days) and part time (minimum of 2 full days) spaces are available. |

We have a pet cockatiel who lives in our home, completely separate from the child care space.
Business hours are Monday to Friday 7:30AM-5:30 PM
This is NOT a nut free home. Food sensitivities can be accommodated however, I cannot accommodate severe allergies. |
