Hello Parents!!
Speckled Frogs is a local, community-based Dayhome that is now re-opening its doors for a younger crowd between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. For the past couple years, Speckled Frogs has been operating as a strictly before and after school care program, however due to the recent expansion of our facility, as well as a couple local volunteers, we are now able to offer daytime care. We have been in operation since August of 2008, so our history has actually been primarily based with preschool aged children, the after school program being a more recent addition in and of itself.
Here at Speckled Frogs, we have worked hard to create a media-free environment that fosters character development and confidence, as well as stimulating young minds to think outside the box, increasing their competence in gross motor, emotional and relational skills. Our facility includes our very own Amberfish Art Studio, an indoor theatrical stage, climber and a beautiful yard, complete with a treehouse, sandlot and additional climber. Monthly costs include art supplies, a discounted zoo pass, lunch and two snacks (tadpoles only) and most field trip expenses.
We will also be re-uniting with our next door neighbours Puddleducks Preschool, who have recently launched a brand new program. Children who wish to attend their morning classes can be dropped off and picked up by a Speckled Frogs Provider as part of their daily routine. We are prepared to launch our daytime initiative come March, so do not delay - call today! :)
