My name is Shazia and I have over 10 years of experience with my own children. In the recent months I have been offering child care where I have continued to provide licensed home care services for children of varying ages. I live in around the highway 407 and Hurontario area in Mississauga.
Although I have many years of experience, I understand that the industry is always evolving and changing. I have completed a CPR and First Aid training course and have a police clearance. I also have a certificate of home child care recognition.
I believe one of the keys to successfully raising a child is ensuring that on a daily basis they are provided with healthy and nutritious meals. I take extra care to ensure that all meals and snacks are prepared in accordance with Canada’s Food Guide. I’m also more than happy to make accommodations for picky eaters too!
I take safety very seriously and I have ensured that my home is safe while still providing the children with a comfortable home away from home.
With education being another key element to childcare, I plan age appropriate activities based on your child’s interests and developmental levels. I will ensure that your child's day is filled with exploring and learning opportunities through fun arts and crafts, puzzles, sing-alongs, vocabulary building games, dramatic play and story time.
I’ll also ensure that they are getting a sufficient amount of physical activity. I live in a large home with daycare play space on main and lower floors my home is located in a friendly area with multiple parks within walking distance.
