Hi there! I as a mother myself, understand the anxiety that surrounds choosing a daycare for your little ones. It can be so difficult to find the right fit to make both parents and children feel comfortable. That alongside my love for children is exactly why I opened Little Seedlings Home Daycare. I wanted to create a space where parents felt comfortable bringing their children knowing that they would be safe, well cared for and loved. I wanted to create a home away from home environment where children could have fun both indoors and out, grow and learn through play, and develop both independent and social skills. I am proud to say Little Seedlings Home Daycare is just that.
Little Seedlings Home Daycare is conveniently located in Confederation Heights in Thorold, just minutes away from the 406, Brock University and the Pen Centre.
Leaving my healthcare background, I bring with me a lot of patience, responsibility and knowledge. I am CPR and First Aid certified and offer a current vulnerable sector police check.
Little Seedlings Home Daycare provides a cozy, loving and familiar home away from home environment. With prioritizing safety and kindness, we offer a bright, clean and well maintained daycare area with a same floor washroom for children to grow and have fun through play based learning both indoors and outdoors. We have a fully fenced backyard with no rear neighbors, plenty of outdoor toys and equipment and are only minutes away from a large park and splash pad. We value outdoor time, going for walks, fresh air and fun!
We are happy to offer children two snacks, one mid morning and the other in the afternoon as well as a homemade lunch daily. We are extremely proud of our weekly menus as we continually strive to find the balance between healthy eating and fostering good eating habits within our Little Seedlings as well as allowing the occasional treat. Our parents are continually impressed with our focus on well balanced diet and nutrition and the variety of foods their children are exposed to and enjoying.
We believe in including parents as much as possible within the day to day activities within our daycare. We truly believe in the sense of community and hope to foster strong bonds with both the children and their families. We offer parents a private community which they can access online that is limited to only parents of children enrolled within our daycare. We regularly update this space with pictures of their children, meals, crafts and outings. We update and remind parents of upcoming events and holidays and stay active in including families in our day to day and future activities.

Please note, we are currently full! Our next expected opening is September, 2020 if things should remain the same. However, if something changes, a position may open earlier.
