Welcome to our home daycare – we are Daniela and Nadia!
We are a licenced home daycare working with an Agency.
We work together because our strengths and experience complement each other. We are able to provide more personalised care and a safer environment, which benefits your child.
Daniela brings a wealth of 15+ years of experience both in childcare and education, and has a Master’s of Arts in Education and Pedagogy from Europe. She also has a certificate for ESL-Home Daycare Providers from the Ottawa-Carleton Catholic School Board. Nadia has worked in a daycare and has experience mentoring and tutoring children for over 4 years.
We both have First Aid CPR C + AED up to date, as well as our Police Checks.
We are members of the Child Care Providers Resource Network of Ottawa-Carleton (CCPRN).
We believe it is very important to get to know your child and to be able to connect with them as it allows us to foster their creative ideas and develop their sense of self-worth. Every day the children are given the opportunity to explore. We do daily activities aimed at nurturing their natural curiosity and encouraging them to learn by doing and playing. We also help develop their emotional, social, and problem solving skills through educational and interactive activities.
Our daycare is located on a quiet street in the Central Park neighbourhood (Merivale & Baseline). The play room is on the main floor. Smoke free and pet free home with a private fenced backyard. We go outside every day (weather permitting); there is a park 2 minutes away by foot. We will send you pictures and updates about your child.
Nutritional home cooked meals are prepared every day for breakfast/morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack.
We can communicate with the children in English, French, and 5 more languages.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am – 5:00pm.
Ages: 2 to 5 years old
We look forward to meeting you and your child!

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
