Hello! Thank you for your interest in my daycare. Whether you are changing daycares or starting daycare for the first time, finding a daycare that meets your child's needs and at the same time finding a provider that you feel you can entrust with your child can be very nerve racking. I feel it is very important for the parents and the provider to have a very open and friendly relationship to best meet the needs of the children.
I have a bachelor's degree in contemporary Studies with a minor in youth and child studies from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Certificate in Counseling for Human Skills from Niagara College. I choose to do daycare because of my love for children. I am still currently working one day a week for the Niagara Catholic School Board as a School Secretary. However, I have decided to stay home majority of the time and open my own home daycare.
My daycare is a family daycare. I want my home to become your child’s second home. We have a family setting and my focus is to teach the children life skills such as respecting others, sharing, polite manners, following instructions, responsibility, anger control and problem management, all through play and exploring their environment. I believe that these skills are important in encouraging independence, especially before children enter a school setting.
Admission conditions
I currently have openings for before and after care for Woodland P.S. as well as St. Edwards C.E.S.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
